Why We Built VAHTOR
Workplace AI needed governance that does not read what people type.
VAHTOR is an AI governance platform from Vahtor Oy (Helsinki, Finland) that runs through a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Brave, Opera, and the other browsers people use. It shows which AI tools your people use without reading their prompts, lets you approve, restrict or block them, and keeps AI policy and training records. It does not collect prompts or conversations. The registered postal address is Mikonkatu 9, 00100 Helsinki, Finland.
We do not collect AI prompts or conversations. Ever.
See AI tools used in the browser
ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and the rest show up in one inventory when the extension is installed. Approve, restrict or block. Phone apps and desktop AI apps are not in that inventory.
Policy that people actually accept
Publish a company AI policy from a template. Track who accepted the current version. Keep literacy quizzes and pass marks for the whole team.
Stop whole files going into AI
Rules can block PDFs, Excel and office files attached to AI tools. Credentials and secrets are flagged on-device. Chat text is not stored.
